AutoAdvantage Group ("AAG") is creating an automotive e-commerce platform for internet-connected cars.

Whereas the advent of smartphones and tablets has ushered in an era of mobile advertising, the automotive environment is yet a largely untapped channel for e-commerce.

According to a recent presentation at All Things Digital, 144M Americans spend on average 52 minutes per day in cars and 76% of them are alone.

Connected Car Applications

Internet connected cars now represent advertising "white space." AAG sees a substantial business opportunity--collect all of the data generated from vehicle sensors and powertrain computers, store this data in the cloud, and use it to (i) improve operation and servicing of vehicles (a benefit to consumers) and (ii) enable automotive e-commerce. By combining real-time vehicle data and location information, AAG can deliver highly qualified buyers to automotive service providers.

AAG is built on a mobile software platform used by Fortune 100 companies for over 10 years. The technology has been used in China to track the performance of vehicles and in the USA to track field service trucks.
